In 1987, the brand teamed-up with beverages giant Moët Hennessy to create what is known today as the world’s biggest luxury conglomerate, LVMH. Marc Jacobs was then appointed as its first creative director in 1997, where he introduced men’s and women’s ready-to-wear collections.

The rest, as they say, is history, and since then LV continues to expand with hundreds of stores worldwide and a growing number of designer brands under their umbrella (Dior, Céline and Givenchy, among others).
