1. Both bags has the double CC turn-style lock. You see?
2. Both leather style are very similar. You can get the easy flap in caviar and lambskin.
3. From the design perspective, there isn’t much difference. Or did I missed something?
4. Both has leather interwoven between the chain links. BUT, the Chanel easy flap has a leather handle on the top. Can you see? Can you see?

I was very disappointed that Chanel has discontinued the Chanel east/west flap. Then Chanel introduce a new bag, the Chanel 3, which looked similar to the Chanel jumbo flap, but not quite yet. Now Chanel has introduce the easy flap and it’s oh-so-easy, let me show you why.
The Chanel easy flap cost: 1,530 GBP (spotted in London), around 1,800 EUR. It’s available in lambskin and caviar, golden hardware and silver hardware. You can pick the blue, beige or black. Size is 25 cm in length. The easy flap is an excellent substitute for the Chanel classic flap. The medium classic flap is already priced around 2,670 GBP, can you see the huge gap in price?

Can this easy flap jumbo being wore as cross body? My classic medium flap ( bought in March 13) just reach my belly button when I wear it cross body.
Do you think it is worth to buy it coz I already bought a GST black adn Classic Medium black within last few month, GST in Jan and Medium Flap at end of Mar this year.I have not see the easy flap and I am wondering whether I can use the easy flap jumbo as a everyday bag or for travelling.
I am thinking in between get this jumbo easy flap or save a bit more to get a Hermes Birkin Bag. However, I have no idea which colour/type of lether I will pick for the birkin bag.
Any suggestion?
Hi Helen, you already got the medium classic flap bag and the GST. See the jumbo easy flap as an extra dessert after the diner. I would save a bit for the Hermes Birkin bag. If you have the medium classic flap, and you buy the easy flap too, isn’t it a bit similar. While if you buy the birkin bag, you have an entire new bag and style in your wardrobe. Love that right?

I would like to have a Jumbo size chanel easy flap ( not sure about which colour Black/Beige) for an everyday bag. I got GST cos the Classic Medium Flap was not availble at duty free shop last time. Later on I bought the medium flap at Selferdges. I don’t think you can adjust the strap longer how? The SA told me the medium flap can not be worn as cross body when I purchased. I have not done enough research on Birkin and don’t know whether I can just walk in and buy straight away from the shop. I don’t like wait for long time just for buying a bag. Do you know which type of lether o Birkin hold the shap well and lighter? It will be my first and only Birkin.
I’m thinking to sell my GST as I bearly use it- only 5 times since I bought it.
Hi Helen, which duty free shop did you went? Love the GST, it’s a great start, but you have to get the flap bags, it’s gorgeous.
If you sell the GST, do you need the cash to fund the other bags? If not, I would keep it.
I have never done it, but I heard from others that SA can make the strap longer. You might want to ask.
With Birkin, you can buy and walk away, but only to a few types. There are types that you need to wait for very long time in their list.
A lot of people love the togo leather, because you don’t need to baby it so much. So you will be having the medium classic flap and the birkin, and you don’t want the GST? You do not like tote bags or…?
T3 at Heathrow in Jan, they no longer sell classic flap bag there anymore.
The reason of selling the GST it is due to I rarelly use it and it has an open top rather than closed. I just got bonus and it is enough to pay for another Chanel Easy flap. I just not really use the GST much. Maybe sell later to make some good margin.
Will pop to Selferdges to ask SA next week then, but the SA did told me the medium flap can not be wore as cross body type and that is reason I wanna the easy flap jumbo.
My colleague got a togo black for EUR6500 last year in Germany, my budget will be similar. However, I noticed that the Togo birkin is not that structed well. How about Epsom?
I love the bags have multi ways to carry, however, I end up with lots of Tote Bags, too many. I do lots of reasearch for the Birkin. Thanks anyway.

Do you think the Easy Flap is worh buying. Current I have a GST in black which I bought in Jan and a medium classic flap in black caviar that I bought at end of March this year. I have purchased two chanel which 3 months this year.
Do you know whether the Easy Flap Jumbo can be wore as cross body as my medium classic flap looks funny when I were cross boday as it just hit my belly button level.
Is it same caviar lether as classic range? I heard it is soft Caviar from other source. Can Easy Flap hold shape well?
Hi, you can adjust the strap? If you can’t do it yourself, go ask the SA. They should be able to help you. The easy flap is kind of the like the classic flap. I find the classic flap caviar much better.
