The Fendi Origami Bag was launched in the Fall Winter 2023 Collection. The name is inspired by the ancient Japanese art of paper folding. The bag’s design allows it to be folded like Origami to create different shapes. The Fendi Origami Bag is constructed to be a dual bag. It can transform from a bucket bag to a shopper tote. This idea is very Fendi because the design looks simple, but it’s actually very complex. The Origami transformation is possible because of the closure system that involves eight concealed magnets. When the magnets come together in the middle, the bag becomes a more compact and cubic-like bucket shape. When you pull the small leather straps on the sides, the magnets will be released, and the bag opens into a trapezoidal-shaped shopper tote.
